between la serena and nowhere

drove more than 100 km over alternate washboard and
rockslide, couple of sections about 4/5ths as bad as I would be willing to try
without skidplates rollbars and a winch. saw a guy on a horse pushing a huge flock of goats
with the help of a gs dog. impressive, goats are much harder than sheep.

horses and goats are about the only things that find enough food there
(someone did not brush their saddle marks out)
